Yes. This was nothing but an elaborate ruse by the Tyrant herself, admin Tsukiko. Congratulations to the people who realized it was a prank without us needing to tell you.

Thank you to the people who, after realized it was a prank, joined in the fun.

So no, worry not. There will be no Twilight Crossovers. The Tyrant and her evil Sidekick, the Gamemaster will still be around (for those who don't know already, the Gamemaster IS an account that's shared by all admins, not a person), and the Purebloods will still be limited.

For the record, Kaname HATES Twilight with a passion. I don't think anything in the world would make him consider making this a "Twilight Crossover" game.

So, put your Twilight pictures away, guys. It was a prank. And, by goly, it was funny.


BRIEF TSUKIKO NOTE:
I would like to thank people who showed so much support. I wasn't trying to make this prank into a popularity contest because I actually thought people would realize it was a prank when it was said the Gamemaster would be banned -- if you check the Gamemaster's profile, you'll see it's a shared account by the admins. Which meant it can't be banned unless you ban us all.

Maybe it's a bit shallow of me to feel all fuzzy and warm inside to know some people understand why I do what I do, and what I do is an ungrateful job, and stand up to defend me, but at the end of the day, the Admins don't get enough love.

So, thank you for understanding. Thank you for realizing rules are needed so that there is fairness. Thank you for knowing that when I bitch about good and long posts, I do it because I want to have a better quality of RP, making this more a ROLEPLAY site as should be, and not just a VK-themed Hi5.

And for the record? I'm against the Pureblood limitations. I've always been. But the Admins are a team, and they have to work as one, even if disagreeing with each other, majority still rules.

Recently, the admins have been debating about the future of this chat.

After a great deal of discussion, and taking into account a whole lot of player input we had, we felt we were limiting player creativity far too much, and unfair and unreasonable rules were being put into place.

For that reason, Admin Tsukiko and the Gamemaster will be relieved of their positions, seeing they have constantly ruined the fun of players with their neverending nagging. We would like players to tell us, as well, if they should be banned. Whether they'll stay around as players or not, will be left in the hands of the other players of this game. Leave your opinions here.

Furthermore, we will be lifting the restrictive rules on Purebloods. Instead of slots, we will let everyone who wishes to join as a pureblood, or even let existing characters (including humans) change their level to pureblood (if they inform me first of wanting to do that. People changing their level without my permission will be in trouble).

Finally, myself and Kaname are considering changing the game's nature to allow it to be a crossover with the Twilight universe. We feel it to be a very well written and interesting world, and it would suit well the environment of Cross Academy. Obviously, we will need players to take on the main characters of Twilight. I would like to know who would be interesed in playing Bella Swan, Edward Cullen and the rest of the Cullen Family Teens. The Cullen and Swan parents won't be available as PCs -- but Jacob Black will, as he will be part of the Vampire Hunters force.

Should you wish any more clarifications, don't hesitate to leave your questions in this topic.

We'll ask for moderately good applications. But we are sure not everyone wants to be a pureblood. We trust our players to enjoy the RP more than the overwhelming power.

The Twilight characters would be attending the Academy, of course. And this would happen pre "breaking dawn" so that Bella is still unwed and human. Edward and the other Cullens would be level Ds, with his father being a level A (but he won't be showing up in the story, only as an NPC).

If they want to become the pureblood\vampire version of themselves, they will have to simply roleplay the scene in the official groups and be done with it.

I feel that the Gamemaster and Tsukiko-san are doing a good job, but they need to let a little more freedom with the players. The Twilight crossover I am against because I think since the site is dedicated to roleplaying Vampire Knight, you should leave it as it is. And, the plot of Twilight is rather complicated to let combine with the plot of Vampire Knight.

And one last thing, the restrictions shouldn't be lifted. In my opinion, I agree with Rei and Rui. Things will get out of hand, but you could expand the amount of purebloods allowed to a number like 10 or 12. If you allow just anybody to apply for pureblood, things will go chaotic.

Okay, so I read this and here's what I think:

- Thank you for finally taking off that little restriction for player creativity. Sometimes I felt as if VK wouldn't accept most of my ideas. If people do, however, get to godmodding because their power is extremely invincible, that wouldn't be so nice.

- I don't believe Tsukiko should be banned. Sure, she may have caused some trouble as a tyrant (as some said she was), but I think she shouldn't be banned. I think that she should be one of the regular players, like most of us. As for the GM, since it is useful in some areas of this roleplaying site, I think we should keep it. I find the GM to be quite useful at times, since it roleplayed the NPCs. Whether it is an admin or not, doesn't really matter to me. Though it could be changed into an account where people can ask questions and one of the admins could check periodically.

- Finally slots have been taken off the Purebloods restrictions! I found that rule to be awfully unfair, especially for the people on hold. I mean, what if they signed up and had to wait and then a year later, they got a slot? Wouldn't they have lost interest by then? I think the rule on the excellence of the profile should be kept, however. I mean, if everyone had a pretty good profile, the whole place would be swarming with Purebloods.

- That's really cool that we're going to have a Twilight mix in this. It's not really that hard to throw Twilight into Vampire Knight. All you really have to do is think that instead of Forks High, it's Cross Academy. Which is a pretty sweet. I support the idea, since I'm a fan, but not a total hardcore one. If possible, I'd love to play Alice Cullen! :D Oh and, if the Cullen kids do have to be Level Ds, do they have powers? Cuz Alice can see into the future and all, and it would suck if she didn't have that power as a Level D.

I don't think Tsukiko and admins are limiting the creativity of the game. Actually they're very helpful and there's no reason Tsukiko and the Gamemaster should be banned from the game. This place have changed a lot ever since Tsukiko-sama and the Gamemaster became admins, they have improved the site and the whole game therefore they should not be relieved of their positions. The only people that have been saying that their never ending nagging and them "ruining" the game is just bullshit, they're just being sore losers. If you can't take the heat, get the fuck out. Tsukiko and GM prevented stupid roleplayers into ruining the game and role players having ridiculous profiles.

Secondly I don't think the admins should lift the rules on Purebloods, purebloods in the VK universe are unique and rare. Everyone can't be a pureblood, things would just out of control if that happen.

I'm an anti-Twilight person, so I think a crossover with Twilight would be just downright ridiculous. >:3

As one of the admins here, sorta story and game-play related though still an admin, I have to say that Tsuki and the Gamemaster have gone to great lengths to preserve the integrity of the board. Its hard to be an Admin, lets just explain that first. Ive been roleplaying via writing longer than some of you have been in school, so ive seen alot of places go down in flames thanks to over indulging in player creativity.

The fact of the matter, is that unlike most stories, games, or TV shows, the actual VK anime included, their can be no 'main' character here. The purpose of this game is not to play a main character, but rather to play a character in this universe. All that Tsuki and the Gamemaster have done, is try to keep that world from getting screwed up. Nothing more.

It is quite unfair to insinuate she is a tyrant, not when most of the forums and reorganization you see are thanks to her personal time spent trying to improve your gameplay. I'll tell you something now, having been on staff on some rather large boards, 1,000+ members to be exact. As an admin, you don't do your job unless you come under flak. Its not that either Tsuki or the Gamemaster are limiting the creativity of the game, they are just trying to preserve the integrity of the game, thats all.

Calling her a tyrant for taking time out of her day to keep this Roleplay Community running smoothly is simply uncalled for. Have you taken into consideration that being called out like that in such a public forum is something that might seriously hurt her feelings?

I wont tell you to feel a certain way, or that you aren't entitled to your opinion. However come on people, lets have a little tact please.
