PUREBLOODS

After a request from admin Kaname, we decided to restrict the number of purebloods active in the game. We were starting to have far too many of them and that really made them cheap. Purebloods are rare and they are growing to be less and less, so there shouldn't be 20 or so of them in the same school.

For that reason, there will only be allowed 8 player purebloods to be active at any given time. Which means that only IF one of these 8 stops being active, a new pureblood can be accepted. For this reason, purebloods MUST be active. If we notice that a pureblood hasn't been active in three months, his or her slot will be revoked. Their character will be temporarily banned until a slot opens or if they accept to change their level to level B.

If you want to be a pureblood, it's possible you'll have to wait a few weeks or months until a slot clears up.


NOBLEBLOODS and HUNTERS

Noblebloods are now considered RESTRICTED characters, like Hunters. Which means that we will only allow very very good profiles to join as Noblebloods or Hunters. You can join, yes, but you'd better give us something very good to work with -- anything under "stellar" will be refused. If you're not sure what we mean by "very very good", check the forums for the "So you want to have your character approved" thread in the character submission forum. It will give you ideas and suggestions and how to avoid common mistakes.

This rule, by the way, will be enforced retroactively. This means that soon, we'll be going through ALL nobleblood characters and checking them. If we don't like what we see, then you'll get two weeks to review your character, or change it to Level C. It's not fair to force the new players to adhere to amazing standards and let the old players do what they want.

This rule makes sense for the purebloods, but for nobles, I don't think that their profiles have to be that good. I understand that a number of new noble bloods have joined and there may be too many of them, but the rules are getting tighter and tighter.

We are not going to demand pureblood quality from noblebloods, but we are going to ask hunter-level quality.

The joining rules are becoming strict but this is to ensure more quality in the RP. I'm glad to see that the majority of the RPs nowadays are no longer the "look at my picture" and "one line" answers we had a few months ago. I don't think it's asking much to ask people to try hard to join. We're not asking for term papers here, nobody is forced to run as a pureblood or nobleblood. Level Cs and Ds are in much greater number than As and Bs, and it's quite easy to be accepted as one.

It's the law of search and offer, really. A lot of people want to be purebloods\noblebloods? Fine, we make greater demands so we'll get the better players in those slots.

Well i guess I'm fine, i never got a comment or E-mail. i never noticed this post and I'm kind of hitting myself for missing this. I actually agree with this. I see nothing wrong with it, and I normally am active so I'm not really worrying much
