Vampire Knight Roleplay

Roleplaying Site for Matsuri Hino's Vampire Knight

She just wanted this pointless life of hers to end.
Chihiro sat under a tall oak tree, rather close to the school fountain. She wasn’t thirsty, oh no. She was just plain bored as hell. Nothing had happened since she’d come back at all. She hadn’t even bumped into Kiryuu, one of the very few people she found even remotely interesting around here.

So far Chihiro spent her days wandering the school aimlessly, going to her part time job, fretting over how she wouldn’t make the rent for her apartment on time followed by ignoring her bloodlust. The tablets still didn’t work for her, but she could hold them down for longer now…that was a sign. She thought. Oh and the odd time she would read.

She found herself so short of time since she had a place of her own. But honestly, it was so much better than sleeping in the stables all the time. That annoying prickling sensation, the stuffy air, and all those horses kicking up a fuss because she was a vampire.
Why didn’t she sleep in the moon dorms? Well the answer was obvious, she hated almost every single snotty vampire in there. And they hated her too, she was sure of it.

While she was reading less she found herself singing more, or just humming away. She was an alright-ish singer, there were a lot of people better than herself but she didn’t sound like a hag at the same time.

"当然の苦しみも運命が誘う
震えだす足が覚えてる。。。確信に
天国か?地獄か?はそこに向かへ
さあ今全てを知るから "

His first night at the academy.

Solomon didn't bother to go to the moon dorms yet, he knew all he would find would be those creatures like himself... those vampires. And honestly he didn't have the time or patience to deal with the tiny brats, so he merely walked about the areas of the gardens to check out the scenery. For reasons unknown to himself he loved the beauty that mother earth graced the lands and to his expectations, she did a wonderful job in these places as well.

Watching the leafs whistle in the gust created, his pacing stopped their tracks on the trail ahead of him. Optics of darkness closed to brace the world, taking in the simple pleasures of this star filled night. And with a short sigh, Solomon's pale hand lifted to allow his fingers to trail into the long locks of golden until his ears were graced with a voice of another student. She was singing it seemed.

Within the trance of the music, his eyes darted toward the direction of the voice and to his surprised there in the trees was another night class student. Her midnight blue hair danced within the wind, with eyes that could pierce the very soul. Solomon sensed that this girl was no class higher, but lower; a Level-D.

Interesting, I've never encountered your kind before. He thought as a tiny grin creped on his lips; he stared up toward the sitting figure. The current hair style reminded him of his dearest one; the fringe cut neatly across her face while behind her ears longer locks descended nicely into the main course of hair, and it sickened him to place his eyes on such a sight already. His heart had turned cold since the days in the winter where she was near, and now his mind was tormented with the memories of her. He had to get over it...indeed it was one of reasons he came to this particular academy.

" Such an angelic voice, my dear." A cheeky smirk and a voice masked his intentions that were far from pure. " May I hear your name?"

Solomon could sense the hatred within her aura, but for what? He figured for the master who gave her the gift of becoming a creature of the night. It amused him so much to imagine the torture a human would go through to become a level-D, somewhat depressing and somewhat entertaining.

He waited for her answer.

[ooc: Finally invaded your rp t's a little long >_>; Oh well!]

Chihiro’s singing came to a dead halt as she quickly stood to her feet, a bit to quickly for her sense of balance to handle apparently, as she began falling backwards only to catch herself gracelessly with the other foot.

“I’m okay.” She stated quickly, only looking at the stranger now.
She had never seen him before, but with how rarely she attended classes she barely knew anyone in the night class. And she didn’t want to know them either. In her eyes they were all the same. Cocky, arrogant, insensitive, idiots.

The blonde in front of her may very well be a noble, but his aura wasn’t strong enough to be one. A C-class vampire? She thought. She always had to put up with nobles all night long, she never really encountered an ordinary classed vampire though they were the biggest group in the vampire society.

Despite that, he seemed the same as a noble vampire. His uniform all neat and proper. (Once again she wasn’t in full uniform. Just the shirt and skirt.)
So her mind just clicked for her try and brush him off.

“Chihiro Akahana.” She snapped, folding her arms over her chest. “What do you want?”

(OOC: Long is good~ Long is good~ And even though I say that mine is quite the short ^^; FHFHFH~!!!!)

Watching Chihiro slip from the tree, Solomon felt a small quiet chuckle exhale from his lip. Though she landed perfectly on her foot, balancing herself until she was straightened once again and faced him. Her expression was not friendly, kind or welcoming; she had a certain fire of disgust bursting through the intensity of her violet eyes.

So she must hate all vampires then? I see. But that didn't matter Solomon got what he had asked of her, which was her name. And it was said so smoothly through her lips as if a melody.

Chihiro Akahana, the first vampire he made contact with so far and by the looks of it the first enemy, unless he tried a to understand her. His first thought was to just walk away, but after a moment decided to remain pondering that maybe this girl would have some use some day.

Solomon's eyes stared at her facial features; She may have the hair similar to his love, but the face... completely different. Her eyes were sharp as knives and no smile was present, unlike his angel whom always had a cheerful expression.

" Miss Akahana, " Solomon bent his figure allowing the female to receive a graceful bow while his eyes remained locked on her own. " I merely wished to know your name. I do not want nothing of you. " Straightening his body to stand upward, he continued to smirk slightly.

Chihiro watched in confusion as the blonde in front of her bowed, "I merely wished to know your name. I do not want nothing of you."
“Your expression’s telling me other wise.” She stated simply, noticing the smirk tugging at his lips.

So far he was kind of annoying, and appeared to be arrogant just like all the other nobles were. Ordinary, noble, pureblood, it looked like they were all egotistical.
Well, this was one way to rid herself of boredom. Seeing if she was right, if all vampires regardless of class were the same. Sure it was discrimination, grouping all vampires as being big-headed, but so far it looked like the truth to Chihiro.
“…Then tell me your name.” She said, her arms staying folded over her chest, her violet eyes staying bitter and irritable.

“Your expression’s telling me other wise.”

Such a blunt sentence she had said only made Solomon's grin widen. As he thought, his false charm only delivered another reason for the level-D to back away and remain distant. Yet, If he were to act as himself and how he was once... then maybe she wouldn't act was cruel towards him but that was out of the question that side of him died along with his heart years ago. Pity it was, indeed.

Solomon arched a golden brow towards her as if to question her statement but nothing was spoken; She was to ask another question in a moment, he knew. And his wait was not long; she wished to know his name, surprisingly.

" You can refer to me as Solomon." His last name wasn't necessary, he knew he was not of an high class family and merely sensing his power level she would know that. In his mind, his family name was a curse set upon him to show to others that he was merely a lower class vampire, a worthless being; he had to prove them all otherwise but to this girl it mattered not, he knew.

" Tell me, Miss Akahana. Why such a stern face?" The male bent his knee, allowing his foot to slide backward enough so he may kneel to the ground of the grasses of the garden. His eyes were caught by the beauty of the various flowers planted within this area so he reached out; long finger tips of ice embraced the petals of a rose, brushing against it softly. He sighed and continued, " Is my presence such a burden?" Optics glanced into her direction; waiting silently was his voice.

“Why such a stern face. Hmm…well I think it has something to do with your arrogance which, at the moment is setting my teeth on edge, Solomon and yeah, your presence is a bit of a problem, but its keeping me from dying of boredom.” She said, the sarcasm all but dripping from her tone of voice, fading out to a sort of a groan of sorts.

“So, why did you come to this academy? ‘Pacifism?’” She asked, once again a sardonic tone in her voice. Most vampires here came for that reason merely because Kaname promoted it. Some were here to watch Kaname closely, trying to find a weak point. She was here because she had to be. Education. And she was probebally the only one who came to Cross Academy for the simple purpose of learning, and no she wasn’t doing a very good job of it. Technically, she sometimes tended to study on her own in the library. She just didn’t like her ‘classmates’ she had no problem with learning.
(Of course some days she was genuinely lazy.)

(OOC: Oh! I hopes you do well! -can't get a job due to recession- ;-;)

If Chihiro thought this was arrogance, she was surely in for a big surprise.

Solomon's lips parted as he laughed softly, returning his gaze to the flower which his finger tips stroked; The girl was so blunt it made his lips curve. And when she asked the question as to why he was attending this academy, it made his stomach turn. Why was that, well maybe because part of it was correct, even though that wasn't necessary to be known for obvious reasons.

" The reason I'm here?" Whispering, his thumb and index finger twitched as to allow the petals in his grasp to crumble. This caught him off guard and so Solomon sighed, then spoke toward the flower which now eased to exist. " Ah, poor thing... "

Standing on his feet, he placed a hand outward and opened the tight grasp the cold tips, so the destroyed petals could cascade to the garden. Solomon did have a emotional side, which was rarely seen but the beauty of nature was a weakness of his. Scenery being one of his obsessions, he couldn't handle a creature bringing harm to the earth.

His attention was back to the precious question asked, and male turned to face the female level-D. " No, not for such horrid reasons. Merely my curiosity got the better of me, I guess you could say." He could lie through his teeth and no one would ever be the wiser. "Yourself? What is your reasoning?"

He waited.

Chihiro shrugged in response, "I honestly have no idea why I'm still here. Maybe I'm just bored." she stated. It was sort of the truth. She was bored, but she knew why she was still here...somewhere in her mind but she didn't want to confess it to herself.

The actions he had done before were...odd...to say the least. It seemed like he appreciated natural beauty, so there was some small glimmer that maybe he wasn't as arrogant as he seemed to be.

"I suppose everybody lies." She sighed. To tell the truth, she didn't know if he was or wasn't lying. She just presumed he was. Normally when she accused someone of lying their reaction gave it all away. But she didn't care if he was lying really...she just felt like saying that.
"So are you from some kind of prestigious family or something? You look pretty damn fancy for an ordinary vampire." She said, leaning against one of the many tree's in the area.

Well, actually, she'd never met an ordinary classed vampire so she really didn't know what to expect of one. Again, she presumed the word 'ordinary' meant that they were pretty common, and acted much like humans did.

(OOC: Woo! Go you! -gives party hat- :D)

Boredom? Solomon wasn't sure if he ever felt that emotion; He always seem to have some thoughts dwelling in his mind, which kept him from sanity and this feeling of 'boredom'.

"I suppose everyone lies." This comment she had made forced a cheeky grin to tug upon the corner of his lips. And even though this was true; Solomon knew what she had meant stating he was a liar and in this case, he was. Why bother speaking of his dreams of revenge to a stranger though maybe this guilt he had developed she held as well. He sighed.

Eyes that were locked to her own embraced the sky which hidden sections of itself in the trees. Then the question rose throughout the area: 'Are you from some kind of prestigious family'? And what was her reason for asking this, because... he was as she called it, fancy? This made him laugh slightly, how fast the act was broken.

" Mother was a extravagant woman, but no... I did not originate from such a family. " His cranium shook from side to side softly then glanced to her once again. " Perhaps it's a mask." Solomon whispered whilst optics hue transcended into the shade of crimson for a brief second.

A smirk arose but soon fell from his mouth at the same moment his eyes returned to their normal color.

[ooc: WOOO. :D]

“I saw that.” Chihiro snapped, referring to the change of colour in his eyes. It wasn’t like she cared, but she didn’t want to seem ignorant. Either his eyes changed colour due to thirst, or he was ticked off.

“…So then, why do you look and act like a noble vampire? Is it just you or is it all common vampires?” She asked simply, playing with a strand of her hair.

She never thought she’d see the day when she would talk to another vampire so casually…well…for her it was casual, normally by now she would have blown him off. Well she he would rather talk to him than be bored out of her mind

(OOC: Short but I'm tired and need to sleeeeeeeeep~ =____= -cuddles?-)

"I saw that." She spoke, stating the fact that was already obvious; this made his smirk only widen.

Solomon decided to answer her question though even if he were to act out of character, out of the original mask he had set for himself. He didn't much care, this girl wasn't his target anyway.

"To prove a point." His tone had changed from the elegant man, to an original gentlemen with an accent. " My existence was shamed in the past, and I rather not allow history to repeat itself." He sighed, " A mask was needed to be created so that..." Solomon trailed off, realizing his secrets and his reasoning for attending this academy was about to unfold.

"It's nothing."

Silence fell over him, coupled with guilt and sorrow but he would not allow these emotions to render through his expressions, or actions. He was stronger than that, he knew. " And... also, " Glancing to the girl once more, he smiled. " I don't think my appearance resembles a noble. I was born looking the way I do now, and raised to be neat." He didn't think it was a bad thing, though he never used to care about his appearance until lately. Perhaps the absence of his loved one really f*cked with his mind too much... Maybe.

“Yeah…been there, done that…” She sighed, shakily.
A mask. Something she’d been wearing for years and years. What else was she supposed to do? She couldn’t be a fragile, pathetic mess for the rest of her life could she? But deep down she knew she was still that mess, a mess from six years ago. A traumatized child.

“Well if you were born looking like that…” She mumbled trailing off. Her mood had been damped by the thoughts of a few moments ago, just a little. She wasn’t annoyed anymore, but more melancholic. Sure, why not vent it out on this guy, it wasn’t like he’d tell anyone. He was new. Hence he didn’t really have friend to tell…besides…it wasn’t good to keep it inside right?

“…’Ever had everything taken from you in the space of twenty-four hours and ten minutes…? Ever felt like that amount of time was an eternity?” She asked nonchalantly, waiting for him to answer first.
What am I doing…?

(OOC: I...cuddle you and get a blah in return? -sobs- P.S Chihiro's lost it. >D)
