Forbidden Creature (Open to all)

[Yukimura Kyou]

It was about two in the morning. The full moon shone elegantly in the long night. The halls of Cross Academy were desolate, sparkled with the light of the moon and a few candles. Only one person was roaming about. Kyou Yukimura.

She was slowly stumbling through the halls of the Moon Campus, not knowing what to do with herself. She could've sworn that a human was bleeding somewhere, and she was trying to get ahold of her senses. She stumbled across the wall, gripping onto it as if her lfe depended on it. She couldn't take it, she pushed up the sleeve on her right arm and bit into her wrist deeply, drinking the blood to calm herself. She stopped after drinking a pint and wrapped her wrist with a bandage she kept in her pocket. God, it was hard being a Level D Vampire. Harder to control the thirst.

[Akane Nao]

Nao, who had been spending most of her days, was lulling quietly to sleep for the first time in weeks in a closet elsewhere in the academy, when the sudden overwhelming scent of blood filled her nose and stirred her from the pleasant pre-slumber. She sat up and rubbed the sleep from her eyes.

So much for that. She thought, willing herself to her feet to investigate the origin of the smell.

Adjusting her tie, buttoning her vest, and wiping the dust off her pleated white pants, Nao took a glimpse at herself in the reflection of a broken mirror on the shelf before her.

She inspected her appearance thoroughly, careful not to leave a single trace that may hint at her true gender. She rustled her short silver hair and practiced her tough-face. However, her eyes showed signs of exhaustion and her cheeks were pink with sleep. Neck down her facade was successful, but her tired and bashful-looking face almost gave it all away.

Good enough... She thought, relying on the faith that the bleeder outside would not read into it too much.

With that, Nao exited the closet and began making her way toward the every strengthening scent and, after a minute of wandering, she turned the corner to see a girl leaning almost weakly against the wall as her shoulders heaved with heavy breaths. Surely this is the culprit of the smell.

Nao approached slowly, being careful not to startle the girl, and asked in a calm and polite voice, "Excuse me, miss, but are you alright?"
