Anime Discussion...what did you think of the first Season?

Ok so first off, love vampire knight I've read all the chapters so far (41) and I've seen all of the episodes of the first season, and I'm dieing trying to wait for dumb old October...Bleah! anyways this is the place in which to discuss what you thought about the first season. OK what I'd like to point out is the fact I LOVED the 13th episode...Zero in chains...mmmm *drool* enough of my fantasy's but to put into perspective they completely skipped 9 chapters and they also changed it. Where was the fight scene...it wasn't there...but my opinion on Kaname has improved slightly. But I still think Zero is better for Yuuki...he needs her, do you not see that he suffers without her...so tragic. But I just wanted to know what you thought. you can say anything you want, just go for it ^^
