Character Description (tell us what your character looks like):

She has a light colored skin. Her body is medium sized, not fat and not thin. Her height is 5'1". She's always seen wearing a shirt and a jumper. That's her favorite pair. But sometimes, she just wears plain t-shirt and pants(or skirt). She always wears sandals. She doesn't wear accessories but always brings her favorite body bag.

Character Personality (how does your character thinks, reacts or acts):

Akane doesn't say her opinions out loud especially opinions that would hurt others. She just says it when needed. When her friends are hurt, she's ready to fight for them (not the fist fights).
She doesn't get angry easily. But when something annoying really gets on her nerves, she couldn't control her anger in front of people and walks out of the place. She would go to a quiet place to calm herself down. Her anger with a person fades in three days time. She doesn't like having enemies.
When she sees a cute thing or animal, like a dog, she gets very childish. She would say "How cute! I already love it!" and repeat it again and again until she gets tired.
She tries really hard to control herself when she smells blood.

Character Background (your character history before s\he joined the Academy):

Akane was raised by foster vampire parents. She didn't know anything about her true parents. She found out the truth when she was about eight years old. Her foster parents told her that she was found on the side of a school when she was a baby. They took her home and raised her like their own. Besides her foster parents, she also lives with their son, who is three years younger than Akane. The family who adopted her was a rich family. Akane has traveled four different countries. Until she entered the Cross Academy, she had home- schooling. She only had few friends, for she always stays at home. But she loved those few friends very much that at first, she didn't want to go to school and leave them.

What are your character's special skills and unusual abilities (if you're human) or your powers (if you're vampire)? Please keep this at least somewhat faithful to VK canon, don't start making up powers that would completely make no sense in the series.

She started to love swimming at age five. She discovered about two years later that she can manipulate water.

How does your character feel about her\his vampiric state (if you're vampire) or How would your character react if s/he was turned into a vampire (if you're human)?

Her real parents, although she didn't know it, are vampires. Her mother is a noble blood and her father is a pure blood. At first, she didn't know how to control herself when she smelled blood. She got along with the family of vampire (adoptive) and loved being with them.

Character Family and Friends:

She loved her adoptive family very much. Even if they weren't her real family, she considered to be one. Her bestfriend is Kumiko. Kumiko always visits Akane's house and the two of them shared experiences and played.

Akane loves reading novels. She also likes listening to music. She is a good swimmer.

-What will happen to me in this academy?- Akane shuddered. She was walking on the hallways with some books on her left hand and a map on her right one day. She was trying to find the right room, but her head was spinning. This was the second time she had been at Cross Academy but she was still confused (The first time was when she toured it)
-What will happen to me? I think I wouldn't be able to find the room. Maybe I should ask someone.- she thought. She looked down on her map. But she decided not to ask someone for fear of being humiliated. She wasn't very good at talking to new people. She was so lost in thoughts that she didn't see someone coming. She bumped to the girl and Akane's books were scattered on the floor.
The girl stooped and picked Akane's books. "I'm very sorry, I was running and didn't pay attention." she apologized.
" No, it's me who should be sorry. I was so lost in thou-" Akane was cut off by the girl
“ Well, that's alright. What's that you're holding, a map? Are you new here?" the girl asked.
"Yes" Akane answered shyly.
" Well, welcome to the Cross Academy." The girl said. " My name is Yukiko Ichijo. It's nice to meet you."
" I'm Hino Akane. It's nice to meet you too." Akane replied. -Maybe it's not going to be that hard.- she thought.
