Character Description (tell us what your character looks like):

Hyouda Karu, it’s a pleasure to meet me. I know. I get that all the time.

Now that we’re through introductions lets get down to business. I am what you might call an entrepreneur. I’m trafficker of information if you will. A social opportunist who has anything you may want and if I don’t, I can get it. Unlike some of the others at the academy I mostly get along with everyone and try to stay at the top of the social circles.

I do believe I’m a pusher of boundaries. And I’m quite sure the Perfects have there eyes on me but what’s the harm in breaking a couple pointless rules. I am not above taking a life if it’s worth my wile but rarely need to. Unlike my family I don’t partake in the rituals of bloodline self-majesty. One can only be as great s they make themselves…and I’m damn good.

Character Personality (how does your character thinks, reacts or acts):

K is a complex young man who is desperately searching for a purpose in life. he is emotionally locked up form everyone around him but creates a persona like a mask to stop people from trying to dig any further. though he is not truly a child he feels growing up without purpose is a waist and refuses to do so until he finds what he is searching for.

Character Background (your character history before s\he joined the Academy):

Karu’s first memories are of a Buddhist shrine where his father was hiding out. They were always running and though Karu didn’t understand why he never persisted in questioning his father. They were all each other had. The boy grey up without the idea of home. They lived their lives as nomads moving form monastery to shrine, sleeping in the streets and under bridges. When Karu was 4 his father’s friends caught up to them and then Karu was alone. He was taken in by the monastery he was left at but they didn’t have the ability to support a growing young boy and began hunting down record of his mother. A detective found her living in Japan and the monks sent a simple letter to her hoping it would get a reaction.

To whom it may concern…
We regret to inform you that Founa Bajuma was found last May dead in an ally with a young boy crying over his dead body. The boy has been identified as Karu Hyouda. Presently he is being kept at a local boarding house ran by a Buddhist monastery. In two months he will be moved to an adoption agency but given the birthrate of the Chinese, it is not likely that he will be adopted. If you wish to find him you may reply to the address listed below.

Kaede nearly fainted reading the letter. He didn’t want her husband to know she had left her child behind. The shame was horrible but the guilt was worse. She didn’t tell anyone but her maids and soon she convinced her husband to allow her highest maid to go to china, claiming her mother was in need of help. The maid was then sent to find the boy and take care of him. Karu was found almost instantly. His eyes were brilliantly green a rarity to Japanese culture. His white hair matched that of his late father. He was told that in time he would meet his mother but for now he must be patient and so he learned to wait.

Seishirou was less that pleased when he interrupted a letter sent by his wife’s maid to the house and found out about the secret plans of his wife. Furious he confronted Kaede on the origin of the letters. She broke down and told him of her repressed past. Seishirou felt that disowning the child was of great disrespect to the family and though he didn’t like the idea of raising another mans child he ordered that the maid return with the boy. They were given a separate house to live in where Kaede could visit the boy as she wished but otherwise excluded the boy form the family.

He was raised to just go with life, whereas most youths would fight for equality and wish to prove their worth. Karu goes with his intuition and trusts in his abilities and his teachings. He mostly drowns out the talk of the Sakurazuka this and that from behind his blue tinted glasses.

Ignoring the styles of the Sakurazuka, Karu studies in the art of his mother taking particular interest in the art of the Vengeful way of the Nine Rulers.

What are your character's special skills and unusual abilities (if you're human) or your powers (if you're vampire)? Please keep this at least somewhat faithful to VK canon, don't start making up powers that would completely make no sense in the series.

Karu excels in the art of fighting with both his hands and his sword. his love for battle and need for chaos lead him to the creation of the Red Dragon. when he was younger he had an affinity for heat manipulation usually in the form of freezing objects but recently his true ability formed taking away his talent in exchange for his awakening.

his true ability is kept form even his brother because of the nature of the skill. K now has developed the ability to manipulate his own blood. his manipulation allows him to telekinetic shape the blood and alter it to take the properties of metal.

How does your character feel about her\his vampiric state (if you're vampire) or How would your character react if s/he was turned into a vampire (if you're human)?

If I could have my choice in life, I believe I would be a cat. Free to do as I wish and be cherished when I felt like it. If I felt the need to kill vermin or the desire to lounge around, I could do so. But alas, life as not been so kind, however, I think I do my best with what’s been handed me.

Character Family and Friends:

Father was escaping hunt on his life when he fled to China trying to hide himself in new cultures and teachings he had only heard about as a boy. Founa Bajuma was an underhanded pureblood who nearly lost his life for selling out a large criminal organization to the police when they refused to deal with him and his cheaply furnished goods. Collecting the reward out for the boss was payment enough but it wouldn’t end as easily as he thought. He was a notorious slug of a man who left a trail everywhere he went and it wasn’t long before they were at his doorstep. Fearing his life the end he fled leaving his fortune of antiquities and cashing in the Japanese currency for American only to exchange it for Chinese once he had arrived on the mainland. When he cheated the ship manager it would cost him his left arm.

My mother was young and impressionable when she came across him lying on the side of the street. At first she thought him dead. Night was soon to end and from the smell of him she knew it wouldn’t be pleasant if he was found after sunrise. Kaede took him to a monastery that was close to her home. Fearing those after his life, he only gave her his first name. Each day she would return to aid him and soon they were engaged. It was then that he knew he needed to settle down. Things were different in China and he was ok with that. Bajuma claimed the family name of Hyouda and the two were married. In a year Karu was born but it was also this day that Kaede found out who her husband really was. When they found him he fled and when she wouldn’t follow he took the baby boy and ran. She was powerless to stop him. Her marriage was a fraud and soon the paperwork would fall through and reveal that she was technically never married to the man. She remarried a pureblood of the Sakurazuka Family and fled china to Japan knowing that she would never see her boy again. To try to forget the past she pushed to have a child quickly and not a year into her marriage they had boy that they named Seiryu.

the wind rustles past K's hair flowing it back only for it to fall back into place. his emerald green eyes shine behind light blue lenses. the moon lights his face gently. it is midnight. K' steps of the edge of the bridge to fall to concrete river bed below. he lands gracefully like a cat crouched to sped the shock. behind him a circle of young kids shouting and circling around two competitors as they give up their souls to become dragons if only for a moment. he looks over his shoulder to the crowd and smiled. they don't notice him. that's how it should be. in the ring only the dragons exist, but he cant join them tonight. tonight he will spill the blood of the innocent souls and their corrupted bodies. vampire who kills his own before they kill others. he is a slayer.

About the Player (tell us about yourself):

I wanted to start this by saying "It was never my intention to" but the sentence just ended there. I could think of nothing more to put or to say to continue the thoughts drifting my mind. Chronologically I believe I am on my 24th mark or at least that's what the government leads me to believe by reference to my birth certificate. I don't remember too much about the day so it can’t exactly prove that. As for my life, things happened, parts sucked, and life went on. I suppose my main fault would be my opinionated ways. I'm slightly lazy and pessimistic, but I'm very optimistic about my sadistic pessimism. The glass is not half empty; the glass broke and is now in pieces on the ground. Other than that I'm a fun loving, highly self-motivating individual. I play just about every instrument I know of, and if you name one I don't know of, then I can probably learn it in 2 weeks. I'm been role playing for so long that its easier to state how much of my life hasn't been associated with role playing. Wow I am horrible at describing myself. If I read this, which I am but that’s not the point, I would think. ”man this guy just goes on and one about stuff that doesn’t really tell you anything about him except useless things”. In fact I do think that. This was a disaster of a "about me" post. Just skip ahead and ignore this part. You don’t want to know about me. I'm sorry I completely wasted your time.
