Character Description (tell us what your character looks like):

Jackson Chulaind has very short brown hair that is often either spiked or messy with two very short sideburns. Above his brow, his forehead sometimes shows all the stress he has encountered, being a hunter all his life. His eyes are a piercing green/hazel and when he smiles little lines peak from the edges of his eyes. His nose is straight and of a medium size, and rather pointed at the end. His lips are almost a perfect heart. Unless he shaves for a special occassion he usually has a little bit of stuble. He has an average build and is 5'6" tall. If you ever catch him shirtless he has defined pectoral muscles and peaking abs.
Clothing-wise he wears nothing too special or flashy. He often wears a dark tshirt and a leather jacket over it. He's a huge fan of blue jeans. He has only once been convinced to wear a suit, and while he felt like a fool wearing it, he looked smashing in it.

Character Personality (how does your character thinks, reacts or acts):

Jackson doesn't really care about anyone. He loves beer, and killing vampires. He rarely takes anything serious, unless it's protecting someone from a vampire. Jackson is the man who will always make a snarky comment. He's hot headed when it comes to vampires. When it comes to women he's about loving them and leaving them. Although at one time he did know a woman that stole his heart. Jackons loves all kinds of food, especially pie. Make fun of him for it and he'll put itching powder in your shorts. He has learned how to decieve many people in the past so that he could do his job.
"Beer, food, beer, pretty women, and killing vampires."

Character Background (your character history before s\he joined the Academy):

Jackson Chulaind's father was a vampire hunter who taught his son the ins and out of hunting. Jackson hasn't seen his dad since he was 13. It is suspected that he may be dead. Chulaind has been hunting vampires in hopes of finding out what happened to his father, and maybe who killed him. His trail has led him to Cross Academy. While having to be a part of the staff of a high school (if he wants to stick around) is not his idea of a fun time, he's willing to deal with it if it means getting closer to vampires who know of his father.

What are your character's special skills and unusual abilities (if you're human) or your powers (if you're vampire)? Please keep this at least somewhat faithful to VK canon, don't start making up powers that would completely make no sense in the series.

Jackson has no supernatural abilities whatsoever. He is skilled in many fighting techniques including martial arts, kick boxing, and boxing. He wrestles "like a girl" though. And while he knows how to shoot just about any gun, he'd rather opt for hand to hand combat. He also has good skills with a knife.
His father taught him all of this, and some side anti-vampire skills: cutting one with dead blood on a blade makes lower vampires cringe with pain, feeding them dead blood makes them weaker for a few moments (until they get live blood), however he believes the best way to kill them is drain them dry!

How does your character feel about her\his vampiric state (if you're vampire) or How would your character react if s/he was turned into a vampire (if you're human)?

Jackson would kill himself if he was turned into a vampire. But seeing as he is so skilled, it's more likely that he'd kill the vampire who tries to change him before the vampire had a chance to do it.

Character Family and Friends:

Connor Chulaind is Jackson father who is a vampire hunter. Many hunters back home know of him.
Jessabelle (Jesse) was the one woman Jackson actually loved. He left her to find his father and kill vampires.

A man of 45 with a jean jacket on was walking in a dark street. He held a rifle in his hand. The man was searching for something or someone. Just then another figure appeared in the dark with red glowing eyes. Jackson tried to shout, "Dad watch out!" But Connor Chulaind didn't seem to hear him. The vampire decended on the 45 yr old man, killing him.
Jackson woke up in a deep sweat. His pillow was soaked with both sweat and tears that Jackson quickly wiped away from his eyes. He shoke his head vigoroursly and grunted.
Throwing his feet over the edge of his bed he subconciously reached for his bowie. His colt was still in his pants. Jackson threw on his black tshirt and got up. He looked at the clock "7am what a bitch." Where was he again? He looked around as he walked to put his leather jacket on. "Cross Academy." He mumbled. "That's right." He never stayed in the same place for a long time. And he forgot half the places he had been.
Jackson Chulaind opened the door and looked out in the hallway. He grogilly made his way outside the building. Immediately his spirits rised as he saw all the day class students walking to their classes. "Another beautiful day in the neighborhood." He smiled cheekily and winked at one of the girls walking by. Someday, someday, they'd be fair game. Jackson streached his arms in the morning sun. "So shouldn't be up this early." His stomach grumbled rudely. "Food time."

How long have you been a fan of this series?

Since I first saw people dressing up as VK characters I had to watch the series. It was love at first sight.
