Character Description (tell us what your character looks like):

Cross is a full grown male, clocking in at the approximate height of 184 cm. Even though he is now a retired Hunter, he keeps himself in shape, he has a slim frame yet with a tone build.

His eyes are of a hazel-brown shade. His eyes are always kind and welcoming whether you are a vampire or a human. His straight blond hair falls down to his broad shoulders, neat and properly brushed. Most of the time he is mostly seen with his hair tied back into a ponytail with his bangs falling in to his face.

He is mostly seen around the Academy wearing casual clothing consisting of a long sweater, a turtle neck and a shawl. During formal occasions his choice of clothing has more of a business like tone like a long dark coat with a formal suit underneath it.

Character Personality (how does your character thinks, reacts or acts):

At first glance Chairman Cross may seem like a total eccentric fool but beneath those traits there are more to him that meets the eye. When he's around his "children" he would be a doting father that would cook for them and make Yuuki and Zero address him as oto-san. He would gush about them and tries to get them to act like a real family, he would sometimes go overboard in a way that he would piss off or disgust Zero and make Yuuki feel awkward.

Chairman is very kind and caring because he would always look after his students and protect the Academy. He strongly believes in that humans and vampires can live peacefully without causing even more bloodshed and a major war between the two species. He is knowledgeable about all sorts of subjects even without being told directly and he has a way of keeping things to himself like the fact that he kept it a secret from Yuuki that he's a former vampire hunter.

Character Background (your character history before s\he joined the Academy):

Long before he established Cross Academy, Kaien Cross is one of the top vampire hunters in the world, to a point that the vampire hunter association president position was offered to him but turned it down. He was a cold blooded vampire hunter that killed thousands of vampires, he even tried to kill Yuuki's mother Juuri because he thought it would set him free from his fate that he is bound in. He seems to know Kaname and Yuuki's parents especially Juuri since it appears that they once had a relationship.

A few years later he took in Yuuki when Kaname brought her in. He treated her like a real daughter and taught her normal things and about vampires (made her to keep it a secret). A few years later after he took in Yuuki, he brought in Zero after his family was killed by Shizuka, when the two reached high school he appointed them to become the guardians of the Academy.

What are your character's special skills and unusual abilities (if you're human) or your powers (if you're vampire)? Please keep this at least somewhat faithful to VK canon, don't start making up powers that would completely make no sense in the series.

He has the normal skills of a hunter like the ability to recognize vampires and erase people's memories. He's also an excellent swordsman.
