Character Description (tell us what your character looks like):

Kaname have the same facial features similar to those of all the members of the Kuran family, from the striking reddish-brown eyes to the unruly brown hair. Like all vampires Kaname is known to be in possession of immeasurable beauty, his facial features are perfect not a single blemish or flaw to ruin it. He stands at roughly six feet three inches, with a lean yet lightly toned build; his skin complexion is pallid and smooth. When around the campus area Kaname would normally be seen wearing his Night Class uniform, but when he’s out taking care of business he would be seen wearing regal elegant coats usually in black, red or silver color.

Character Personality (how does your character thinks, reacts or acts):

Kaname is normally a stoic and authoritative individual, but always kind and gentle to his precious Yuuki. He has a cold silent demeanor who rarely loses his temper and always level headed in most situations. As a pureblood Kaname is both feared and respected, he is capable of controlling lower level vampires but chooses not to exercise his powers earning the respect of the noble vampires. His personality cannot be really described, his traits are somewhat of a mystery and complicated. One thing we know about Kaname is that he has a dark side; he is manipulative moving people around like chess pieces like that time when he was referring to Zero as a pawn.

Character Background (your character history before s\he joined the Academy):

Kaname was the ancestor of the Kuran family, he was resurrected by Rido Kuran and his soul was put into the dead body of the original Kuran son which Rido killed. By resurrecting Kaname from the grave Rido became his "master" making him unable to kill Rido. Juri and Haruka, Yuki's parents, raised Kaname as Yuki's brother, although Kaname never fully became “their son”. Yuki and Kaname planned to marry as children, following the example of Juri and Haruka who were also brother and sister and married.

Ten years ago the Kuran family was attacked by Rido and Juri Kuran sealed Yuuki's memories along with her powers and her pure vampire blood at the cost of her own life, while Haruka Kuran was killed by Rido. One snowy winter night Kaname rescued Yuuki from an attack by another vampire when she was five years old.

What are your character's special skills and unusual abilities (if you're human) or your powers (if you're vampire)? Please keep this at least somewhat faithful to VK canon, don't start making up powers that would completely make no sense in the series.

As a pureblood Kaname has several abilities:
- He can convert humans into level D vampires by biting them.
-Stop the E-class degeneration process, by giving his own blood to a D-class vampire (a couple of conditions for it to work)
-Enhanced speed and strenght
-Fast healing and abnormal regeneration
-Ability to make lower vampires of any class to obey and serve them
-Some kind of mental power and one power over one of the elements like the wind

Kaname was born as a vampire the ancestor of the Kurans, his soul was resurrected by Rido Kuran.
