Character Description (tell us what your character looks like):

Youhei I suppose looks like any other regular Vampire Hunter, he has thin long black hair, and his eyes are hazel. He has a nice build due to his constant physical training, and due to his age has a more sharp and mature face then most guys at the Academy. He has varies tattoos on his body, a tribal tattoo going down his left arm and his family name (Nobunaga) written across his chest.

Youhei has an interesting choice for casual clothing which he normally wears when he is out hunting vampires. He wears long boots with tight-fitting black leather pants with so many belts and zippers you wouldn't know what to do with 'em, he wears a short black leather vest that is rarely zipped up revealing his entire stomach and chest. Over his vest he wears a Red leather overcoat that goes down to the back of his thighs, the coat has white fur on the inside and in the hood. Around back underneath the coat latched unto his belt is a hoister carrying both his pistol, the one bearing the letter A on the right, the one bearing the letter D on the left. In front the front his Katana is also latched onto his belt by a black sheath.

When Youhei is walking around the academy he is normally seen dressed a bit more professional. A black collar shirt so small it looks as though he may rip out of it at any moment, a white tie, white neatly pressed dress pants, and fine black leather shoes.

Character Personality (how does your character thinks, reacts or acts):

Youhei is incredibly flippant, mouthing off to the most powerful vampires, and generally enjoyed rubbing people the wrong way. He does mature somewhat as time goes by, but never really loses the attitude. Youhei is also seemingly unflappable, never seeming to be outwardly fazed by anything, whether he's being attacked by hordes of Level E Vampires or on the verge of being bitten by a Pure Blooded Vampire, or even while actually being impaled with swords and other sharp pointy objects. Youhei can seem at times to be uncaring, or even callous. However, he actually has a very strong sense of right and wrong, and prefers to fight fair. He can be counted on to do the right thing, even if he is making quips the entire time. Unusually, despite being a Vampire hunter, Nobunaga has no qualms about accepting vampires who seem to be good. Despite his attitude towards everyone, he has a really good nature about him. Like if he witnesses someone in trouble, he'll have no problem intervening, he usually referred to as the 'Knight in Shining Armor' or even 'Prince' for his daring display when it comes to saving particularly ladies. He has a funny way of acting around women, especially the young girls at the academy.

Character Background (your character history before s\he joined the Academy):

Youhei comes from a long line of Vampire Hunters, dating back to when the existence of Vampires were fully acknowledged so he has quite a lot of experience under his belt when it comes to dealing with Vampires. Long before Kaien Cross established Cross Academy, when he was known as the Legendary Vampire Hunter, Youhei worked alongside of him on a couple of missions and the two grew a sturdy relationship. So strong that when Kaien turned down the offer of being the President of the Vampire Association and left the Association for good, Youhei did the same thing. For the past couple of years prior to his resignation he had been hunting Vampires in major cities in Japan, China and some Pacific Islands giving himself a well known reputation back home and at the Hunter's Association. One day he was asked to reconsider his resignation and rejoin the association, this was a request from the Association President personally, Youhei accepted.

After a couple of years of hunting Vampires he one day received a letter from his old friend who is currently the Headmaster as of his own Academy, the letter in question was a request, it seemed as though there was a dark cloud forming over the academy lately, ever since they admitted a vampire with the family-name Rosenkreutz, a name which Youhei knew all too well, it was a family-name that turned the stomach of any hunter once someone mentioned it. It seemed the eldest son of the Rosenkreutz family, who was going to be the next heir, was causing some trouble at the Academy and Kaien was requesting for Youhei's assistance to keep an eyes out for his students and protect them from any threat. Normally, Youhei wouldn't accept anything like that but being a request from an old friend he really had no choice and plus, he was needed a new change in his life, perhaps the life of being an Academy Staff was just the new outlook he needed.

So without wasting another moment, Youhei quickly packed his things and entered Cross Academy as a Staff Member, he handles just about anything, from patrolling the campus during the day while the students are in class, to being a substitute teacher from time to time.

What are your character's special skills and unusual abilities (if you're human) or your powers (if you're vampire)? Please keep this at least somewhat faithful to VK canon, don't start making up powers that would completely make no sense in the series.

Being a Vampire Hunter, Youhei is put through grueling training almost daily to keep his body in top physical performance. He possesses numerous of abilities which aids him when it comes to fighting against a Vampire.

~ Abnormally strong. (Constantly lifts weights)
~ Possesses the same speed and movement capabilities as a Level D Vampire. (Works out with body weights on his arms, legs, and torso)
~ Has a more heighten sense then a regular human. (Meditation)
~ Skillful in varies forms of martial arts.

How does your character feel about her\his vampiric state (if you're vampire) or How would your character react if s/he was turned into a vampire (if you're human)?

If you even managed to turn Youhei into a Level D, there would be no stopping him from biting you back to stop the degeneration process and killing you. So he pretty much doesn't care about turning into a Vampire, nothing will stop his duty and promise to a friend.

Character Family and Friends:

Information of Youhei's current family is unknown but it is apparent that Yu is the last remaining ancestor of Nobunaga Oda, a major daimyo during the Sengoku period of Japanese history. He was the second son of Oda Nobuhide, a deputy shugo (military governor) with land holdings in Owari province. Nobunaga lived a life of continuous military conquest, eventually conquering a third of Japanese daimyo before his death in 1582. He was referred to as a Demon King.

Items of Note (Objects and other possessions that your character owns that are not common or easy to obtain)

Daimon - A tiny pistol with the letter D engraved into it, the pistol is a Anti-Vampire weapon much like Bloody Rose. The letter engraved into it stands for Devil. It fires a silver bullet which explodes once it enters the body sending silver shards throughout the insides.

Angelo - A tiny pistol with the letter A engraved into it, the pistol is a Anti-Vampire weapon much like Bloody Rose. The letter engraved into it stands for Angel, rumor has it that this pistol packs a less powerful bunch then it's sibling. It doesn't explode once it enters the body; it is used mostly to weaken the vampire.

Nobunaga's Katana (Orochi) - An average length Katana which rests on his side of the Vampire Hunter, it was said that it belonged to the Serpent Demon King that was defeated by Nobunaga Oda. It buried along with the body of his Ancestor, it had been recently dug up and fixed and given to the only known relative of the man who was known referred to as the Demon King. The blade is made out of 440 stainless steel measuring 27.5 inches long. The handle is cord-wrapped which features an oxidized copper tusba with an embossed image of Nobunaga Oda.

Shoots echoed throughout the town square following shrieks as the body of an E Class Vampire dropped to the ground...

A chunk of the Vampire's arm blown off as blood began spraying from the wound. A large circle began to form around the vampire as well as the Vampire Hunter who fired the shot and the lady who had almost fallen victim to the horde of Level E Vampires. They were surrounded but the Hunter dressed in red didn't mean to care much, on his face a maniacal grin was shown for all to see as he pointed the tiny pistol with the letter D engraved into it at the Vampire who stood in front of the lady who was curled up into a ball, her clothing torn. "OK, step away from the lady; this doesn't have to end like this." He stated as the barrel of the pistol was glared down at the vampire, "That last shot was nothing, but I guarantee the next one will mess you up. Now if you have a death wish, go ahead and try to attack her." He continued as he began taking a few steps forwards, the gun still aimed at the vampire, no matter the situation he was never the type to show any signs of weakness, he knew his capabilities. If he had to fight this entire horde while protecting one life then that was what he was going to do, his reputation as a Vampire Hunter rested on it. The Vampire before him had a nasty smirk running along his face as he began to test the hunter by reaching for the lady who let out a loud shriek in horror. "Tch." The hunter sucked his tooth as he lunged at both the Vampire and the lady pulling the trigger, a bullet spiraled out the barrel of the gun, it sung through the air until he made impact on the Vampire's torso, the impacting causing him to step back. The moment Youhei reached the lady he quickly used his arm shielding her from the blood as the chest of the vampire began to bubble up and explode causing the others to step back in fear and disgust. "Are you OK?" He asked placing a hand on one of her shoulders. "Yeah... Thank you, er." She had a real puzzled look on her face, she was very cute.

The hunter smiled. "Nobunaga Youhei, Vampire Hunter. At your service." He stated with a grin running along his face as he stood up looking around him at the rest of the hunger-driven vampires who at any moment was ready to pounce on him. "Can you walk?" He asked the lady on the ground without looking. "I think so..." She responded as she slowly managed to get on her feet. "Good," He replied as he placed reached around his back to place his gun back into the hoister and drew out the other one with the letter 'A' engraved it. The difference between the two guns was Angelo could be fired at any given moment, but didn't pack a powerful punch. Angelo's brother, Daimon was the exact opposite for it could only be fired once and then it'd take a few moments to cool off, but it packed enough punch to completely exterminate a Vampire. As Youhei began to shine his gun he reached around his waist causing his jacket to slightly blow back revealing a sword resting in its sheath, the blade sung as he unsheathed the Katana. This Katana was known as Orochi; together with Angelo they made a deadly combination. In his left hand, Youhei had the gun pointing into a group of Vampires causing them to step back. In his right hand, the Katana absorbed the reflection of the moon causing it to shine like no other.

~ Youhei was summoned by his old friend Headmaster Kaien to come to the Academy and keep an eye on the night class student's activities, especially the activities of Valizh and the Axis Organization.

About the Player (tell us about yourself):

I've been roleplaying for as long as I can remember but this is my first time roleplaying Vampire Knight, since the last Role Playing Community I've been too didn't go quite well I went on to find a new place where I can continue role playing. This place seemed interesting so I decided to join, hope to make a lot of new friends. As for personal details about myself if you are ever interested in getting to know me. I'm a big fan of Anime and read a bit of manga from time to time. My hobbies are role playing, video games, and hanging out with friends, I also love chatting on IM. I have MSN and AIM so if you ever want to chat on either one just let me know. On a side note Tennis is my life, I am currently the top player at my high school aiming to be the top in the state after this season, I hope to play for a university and make it into a professional career.

How long have you been a fan of this series?

I've known about this series for quite some time now, I had a couple of episodes laying around my computer but never got to watching them, but when I finally did I was hooked and thought this anime would make a wicked RP, I'm glad to see there are people out there who shared that same idea. Currently as I write this description I am only up to Episode 11 in the Anime, haven't read the manga yet so I am quite new to this. So if I do anything wrong please do not be afriad to correct me.
