Character Description (tell us what your character looks like):

Komine stands at roughly five feet eleven inches, with a lean yet lightly toned build. He appears to be suffering from Aniridia; resulting in solid onyx eyes in which the iris is not present, yet slight amber flecks can be seen if one were given the chance to observe closely enough.

At a mere twenty-one years of age, he is quite easily the youngest teacher at the academy and seems to be relished among the Night Class girls. His hair is of a vivid somber hue, mid-length and eminently wavy in contexture. He typically wears a uniform similar to the Night Class’ attire; fitted white slacks and coat, featuring a cascading cerulean tie.

Character Personality (how does your character thinks, reacts or acts):

Komine is quite the saucy and audacious man, almost to a fault. He prefers not to consort with most humans, viewing them as “lowly,” along with vampires that associate themselves with such beings. Albeit he has a shallow opinion of humans, he would never purposefully go out of his way cause them harm.

He also displays a rather knavish personality, doing things only of which result in some sort of benefit to himself. Despite being such a young age, he is as adequate as any other teacher at Cross Academy; however he would much rather spend his time socializing with the students as opposed to teaching them.

Character Background (your character history before s\he joined the Academy):

He previously attended Cross Academy as a student of the Night Class. Graduating after his eighteenth birthday, he’s now returned three years later as a high-level mathematics and English teacher for the first and second year Night Class students. His past is vague as he remains very tight-lipped about it throughout his stay at the academy; the only thing currently known is that he is one of the last three remaining from the pureblooded Shimokôbe lines. The true reason for his return to Cross Academy, is to repossess a certain girl.

What are your character's special skills and unusual abilities (if you're human) or your powers (if you're vampire)? Please keep this at least somewhat faithful to VK canon, don't start making up powers that would completely make no sense in the series.

Being a pureblood, Komine’s abilities would strike one as unbounded. Often referring to himself as a “puppeteer,” he is a strikingly proficient manipulator, obtaining the ability to control ones mind for a short period of time. He is also especially agile, excelling in various types of sword fighting such as Kendo.

How does your character feel about her\his vampiric state (if you're vampire) or How would your character react if s/he was turned into a vampire (if you're human)?

He was born a pureblood vampire.

Shimokôbe Toméo – Elder brother, approximately twenty-two years of age. Residence currently unknown.

Kanon Kurayi / Shimokôbe Kurayi – Younger half-sister, seventeen years of age. Resides at Cross Academy. Is currently unknowing of Komine’s existence as her half-brother.

Komine hunched lazily over the front desk, his cheek rested upon the tips of two slender fingers as he stared blankly into a dark haze of nothingness. Returning to reality, he shook his head and leaned back into the creaky wooden chair.

“You have approximately twenty minutes left,” he mumbled reticently, glancing up at the clock before shifting his gaze back to the students; who were in the midst of writing a test. Simply sitting here like this was probably one of the last things he wanted to be doing right now.
