Roleplaying Site for Matsuri Hino's Vampire Knight
My most ambitious project yet!
As the post title above says, ive embarked upon my most ambitious venture yet. As some of you, though I hope its actually many of you, may know November is also the National Novel Writing Month. In that vein, as Admin Tsukiko participated last year while I had the honor of being her proof reader, this year I have decided to take the plunge, and churn out a 50,000 word novel (thats 150 pages) in just 30 days. Now, some of you might wonder what I would have to write about to that level, and I'll confess I was somewhat unsure myself, however in a particularly drunken stroke of genius, I stumbled upon the chair and an idea to use.
Like a few others here, I have a semi active Hunter character with a very complicated and long backstory that does not fit into the tiny word limit boxes here on the board. So, in retrospect, ive decided to write my first ever novel in the hopes of building a background for the character, as well as his allies and fellow members of the "Knives of Iscariot". At this point I am still all fired up, with plenty and plenty of ideas, so things are going strong with over 6,000 words finished already spanning two chapters. However, no idea how long that will last, im hoping that I can stay the course so to speak, and am already involved in brainstorming new ideas while at work.
Explored in this novel will be a few ideas that are less related to the Cross storyline, being primarily based in the South West of the United States, involving the machinations of a powerful and dangerous Pureblood intent on wrecking havoc along the Mexican/Us border, an area that I am very familiar with. Of course, as I don't want to be too closely involved with the universe as described by Matsuri Hino, i'm straying away from many references to the series, instead focusing on building my own little playground with which to play.
Who knows, maybe i'll post some of it up here; that is if anyone would be interested in reading the results of my furious and somewhat mad typing.

You very creative and I think that you have a lot to work with, so do your best! Personally I would love to see your work. I'm eager to read about the background of the mysterious hunter organization of the "Knives of Iscariot". Good luck!!!
